Circa 1880.
 
The rug is of a traditional design associated with these small rugs, they are considered to be ''dowry'' weavings. This example is well drawn with good colour and fine weave. The top end retains a short strip of the original blue kilim end finish.
 
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
 
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
