This early nineteenth-century Regency serving platter is made from earthenware with a glossy white glaze and dark blue transfer-printed decoration. The large octagonal tray has canted corners and a wide floral border framing a detailed architectural landscape scene depicting a gateway, bridge, trees, and figures tending livestock. An impressed manufacturer mark sits on the reverse. The piece measures 47 cm in length and 36 cm in depth.
