A substantial George III period oak joint stool with wonderful colour and original patina c.1800. Single piece top with moulded edge overlapping the top rail and four turned legs set to the corners at a slightly splayed angle. Moulded supporting stretchers to the base with hand forged nails securing the top and pegged joints throughout. Superb original colour and patina throughout. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail ...Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
