A Burr Walnut serpentine fronted desk dating from around 1920. This beautiful piece has an original leather writing surface and carved edge to the top. The drawer over the knee hole has a carved shell to the centre with a moulded frieze to the bottom edge of the drawer. It has two graduating drawers to each side. All drawers are Mahogany lined with original Brass handles. The desk has a carved Acanthus to each corner. It stands on cabriole legs which are carved to the shoulder and it has a polished back so can be situated anywhere.
