Fantastic antique gold earrings with tiny seed pearls set among textured flowers and leaves. The gold has a richly coloured slightly velvety finish which indicates it may have been ''bloomed'' - a popular process in the late 19th century where pieces were dipped into an acid mixture to burn away alloy metals on the surface, leaving a thin layer of pure high-carat gold behind and giving that lovely satiny sheen.
