An attractive Edwardian sterling silver and gold portrait locket, circa 1915.
The locket is centred with a large glazed photographic window framed by a gold rim and surrounded by a border of bright white paste stones, with a decorative paste-set bow above.
The locket is stamped 925 / Sterling and has been tested as sterling silver with a gold rim. The reverse opens and allows for the addition of a further photograph or keepsake.
A charming and very wearable example of Edwardian sentimental jewellery, in excellent preserved condition.
