Small Antique Pine Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A small antique box dating from the early 20th century. It is made of pine which has retained its original stained finish giving it a lovely warm and rich colour. It has metal carrying handles and brass hinges.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of use and age, some general knocks and marks and small losses and wear to the finish here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. The interior is clean and tidy. The box has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
