Antique 18th century Georgian oak mule chest of the finest quality, exceptionally well made and beautifully preserved. Featuring a large lift-top storage compartment to the upper section above two drawers to the base, all retaining their original brass handles.

This magnificent piece is beautifully inlaid and crossbanded throughout, displaying a remarkable level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Further enhancing its appearance are the elegant reeded edges to the top, original key, and attractive bracket feet, all combining to create a truly outstanding example of Georgian furniture.

Boasting gorgeous oak grain and rich colour throughout, this mule chest has a wonderful presence and exceptional character. The quality of construction and decorative detailing are evident from every angle, making it a rare and highly desirable find.
