Unusual English Sterling Silver Mini Replica Romsey Bushel Measure 1915 Antique

Description

A rare English solid sterling silver mini replica measure. It is hallmarked for London 1915 with the maker being Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. It has been made as a replica Romsey Bushel Measure and has been engraved ' WINCHESTER- BUSHEL-ROMSEY-JOSEPH-MORTIMER-MAYOR=1792 CORCORAN-FECIT-LONDON'. It is in good condition being free from splits holes and repairs - just a small knock to the rim see final photo. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across including the handles and over 2 inches (5.3cm) excluding them by over 1 inch (2.8cm) tall and weighs 30 grams. A very unusual piece.
