Beautiful antique gold earrings, each in the form of a pearl halo surrounding a deep red garnet in sunburst-shaped setting.
• Condition: In excellent antique condition.
• Hallmarks/stamps: None. The earrings were likely converted to ear wires from their original fittings, at which time any hallmarks may have been lost. The gold tests as at least nine carat.
• Fixing: Gold wires, supplied with tiny silicone ''keepers'' to pop on the ends for security.
• Era: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
• Size: The pearl section is 1.4cm diameter.
• Weight: 3.9g.
