D and A Binder Ltd has dated this Art Nouveau Table Lamp to the 1910s.
The surface has a lightly textured, almost hammered look, which helps catch the light nicely, with the original gilt tones coming through on the high points, giving it a real sense of depth and warmth.

It was made as an electric light from the outset rather than being converted, with the wiring running through the arms and original fittings still in place. The form takes inspiration from earlier candle lighting, but this is very much an early electric example.
A good decorative piece with plenty of presence, works nicely on a side table or console and adds a bit of warmth and character to a space.
