This unusual Italian Florentine chandelier dates from 1910 and displays a maximalist wonderland design. Fabricated from gilt metal, wrought iron and glass, the piece combines a gold finish with striking red colour accents. The structure includes four candle-style sockets with simulated wax drips, ribbed red glass orbs interspersed along the stem and arms, scrolling foliate leaf branches, and a pendant tassel finial at the base. A suspension chain and ceiling rose connect at the top.
