Antique Victorian Round Serving Tray/salver with Engraved Medallions – Circa 1890

A Victorian silver plated round serving tray/salver with a bright finish and an elegant raised rim. The border is finished with a bold beaded edge that frames the piece with a classic, jewellery-like detail. The centre is finely engraved with a circular arrangement of cartouche medallions and scrolling foliage. The tray is raised on small ornamental feet, allowing it to sit proudly on a table or sideboard – circa 1890.

* Raised on its feet, it works as a small centrepiece platform for glasses, decanters, or candles.

In good condition – The tray presents with an attractive overall sheen, with light surface marks consistent with age and gentle use. The engraved decoration remains crisp and clear, with good contrast across the design.
