This stylish sterling silver cocktail purse was made in Birmingham in 1917 and bears the marks of G. Norman. The front and back engraved with elegant engine-turned decorations. The front with a vacant roundel. The clasp opening to reveal the original tan leather interior. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while dancing or holding her cocktail glass.
