Mid 20th Century 18ct Gold Platinum Diamond Opal Ring

Mid 20th century 18ct gold platinum diamond opal ring. This absolutely beautiful quality ring has a very impressive opal cabochon which measures 8mm by 7mm and has a fantastic play of different colours including reds, greens blues and oranges and has colour displays from every angle. Surrounding the opal is a wonderful design of 16 small bright round cut diamonds haloing the opal of 1.5mm each. Total weight 0.32ct. All stones are set into a platinum head measuring 12mm x 9mm. This is really a pretty antique ring. The 18ct shank is hallmarked for 18ct and platinum and probably dates to the mid 20th century around the 1960s. The ring really is top quality and also is in excellent condition for its age. Ring Size UK K 1/2 U.S 5 1/2 the total weight is 3.2g.
