Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian silver baby rattles were luxury nursery items produced during the 18th and early 19th centuries, typically combining a whistle, sound-making bells, and a natural coral teether for wealthy infants.

These rattles were crafted from sterling silver featuring chased or repousse metalwork, fitted with small suspended silver bells, and finished with a smooth handle carved from natural red coral.

Authentic pieces display period British silver hallmarks indicating maker and date, alongside characteristic hand-chased Rococo or Neo-Classical scroll motifs and genuine carved coral.

Antique silver rattles are usually displayed as small art objects inside glass cloches, mounted within shadow box frames, or arranged on velvet trays inside display cabinets.

Silver components should be cleaned gently using a soft silver polishing cloth, avoiding chemical liquid dips that could penetrate hollow bells or damage the organic coral handle.
