A Victorian walnut bookcase of good quality, displaying richly figured walnut throughout. The bookcase is framed by turned columns to each side, lending a strong architectural presence to the piece. Below the well-figured top are two concealed drawers above two adjustable shelves, offering two shelf-height options. The bookcase is raised on a shaped plinth base. A wonderful example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with signs of age. There is damage and wear to the leather coverings on the shelves, as shown. General surface wear, marks, and scratches are present throughout, but overall the piece is in good condition. Structurally solid and sound. A lovely example.
