This is an antique silver plated butter dish with its original frosted glass liner. Standing on four elaborate feet. The oval base tray is bead mounted and engraved with swags. The glass holder is bead mounted to the top with a ribbon of swags to roundels. The lid is engraved with a wavy pattern with leaves. This has a swing handle. Atop is a figural model of a cow. This is sold in original plate with some wear. c1880 British made withÍ a makers mark for James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield stamped underneath.
