A graceful pair of Edwardian diamond drop earrings dating to circa 1910, crafted in 18ct white gold and designed with the refined lightness so characteristic of the period.
Each earring is composed of a delicate knife-edge bar suspending a pear-shaped diamond drop, crowned by an old brilliant-cut diamond set within a square millegrain frame. The diamonds are bordered throughout with fine millegrain detailing, enhancing their sparkle while adding the soft, lace-like finish synonymous with early 20th century craftsmanship.
Elegant and well balanced at 24mm in length, they offer movement and understated brilliance equally suited to evening wear or as a refined bridal choice.
They remain in excellent original condition and retain their original screw-back fittings, which may easily be converted for pierced ears if desired.
Presented in the fitted box illustrated.
