A rare and highly characterful Victorian gold charm bracelet dating to the mid-19th century, composed of a substantial reeded and oval-link chain fitted with a complete collection of fifteen original swivel-mounted fob seals.
The bracelet is crafted primarily in 9–15 carat gold, with two seals in pinchbeck, and secures with a bolt clasp. The seals are set with a variety of polished hardstones including deep red carnelian, mottled green bloodstone, and limestone, many bearing intaglio engravings of family crests, initials, and symbolic motifs.
The variety of seal forms, engraving styles, and stone types gives the bracelet strong visual depth and authentic period character.
Complete Victorian fob seal bracelets with this number of original seals are increasingly scarce, making this an excellent collector’s piece with both strong decorative appeal and historical significance.
