Description

Vintage solid gold earrings with the Chinese character "fu" which denotes happiness, blessing and good fortune. The green hardstone drops are untested, likely chalcedony jade.

• Condition: In excellent vintage condition.

• Fixing: Nine-carat (375) gold butterfly scrolls.

• Stamps/hallmarks: None; the metal tests as 14-carat gold.

• Era: Estimated early mid-20th century.
