This fine and rare pair of English antique standard lamps, dating to circa 1910, features exquisite Chinoiserie decoration and exceptional craftsmanship. Each lamp displays a turned column and separate base, richly finished with raised and lacquered detail. The black ground provides a dramatic backdrop for hand-painted gold and multi-coloured animal and landscape scenes, executed with remarkable clarity and depth.
