Description

Super quality Dutch / Flemish style chandelier in brass. The chandelier has a turned central column with C-scroll arms, drip trays, and a brass finial to the bottom. The width is measured between the arms at 43 cm. This piece has not been polished; we are happy to do so if required. A good quality chandelier, weighing 5 kg. The chandelier comes with small screw bulb holders E14.

Rupert Landen Antiques is a family-run antiques business. Specialising in hand-picked chandeliers, mid-century lighting and period furniture.

We source and lovingly restore unique one-off pieces, using traditional hand finishing techniques.

In our specialist restoration workshop, we put the craftsman at the heart of what we do with care, authenticity and pride.

You can arrange your own transport or collect in person. We ship worldwide and have extensive experience of wrapping carefully so you can shop with confidence! We often deliver for free to mainland UK - please contact us to discuss.

You can also view items at our restoration workshop by appointment only.

Our lighting has all been lovingly restored, tested and earthed but will need to be installed by a qualified electrician. All of our furniture has been through our antique restoration workshop.

Dutch Flemish chandeliers are recognised by their central turned baluster body, reflective spherical or bulbous lower drop, and sweeping S-scroll candle arms. Originating in the Low Countries during the 15th to 17th centuries, these fixtures were designed to bounce candlelight around domestic interiors using polished metal surfaces.
