Art Deco jewellery, originating in the 1920s and 1930s, is characterised by geometric shapes, bold linear patterns, and contrasting gemstone colours.

These rings typically feature platinum or white gold mountings paired with yellow gold shanks, set with gemstones like emeralds or sapphires alongside diamonds.

Authentic pieces often exhibit fine milgrain detailing, geometric stone cuts such as square or step cuts, and period hallmark stamps on the inner band.

An elongated panel ring functions as a single statement piece on the index or middle finger, complementable by simple modern gold jewellery.

Emeralds require gentle cleaning using warm water and a soft cloth, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners, steam, and harsh chemicals to protect the stones.
