Description

A superb antique Victorian carved walnut bench / stool. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1900 period.

It is of incredibly fine quality, with stunning and intricate carving throughout. It stands on slender yet sturdy legs that run all the way up into armrests. This would be perfect at the end of a bed, in a window bay or in various other settings around the home. It is finished identically on both sides, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had the frame re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
