An early Sterling Silver Georgian Bright cut decorated Patch Box hallmarked for Birmingham 1796 by Samuel Pemberton.
 
Circular form with vacant shield shaped cartouche.
 
Measuring 2.4 cm diameter x 0.5 cm and weighing 6 grams.
 
In very good antique condition, hallmarks are good, small split to the inside rim of the box, small dings and scratches & usual small signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
 
A very nice period piece.
