Danish silver and blue enamel brooch. 1950s. By Anton Michelsen., Copenhagen 1841 - 1996.
 
Anton Michelsen established his smithy in Copenhagen in 1841 and became one of the most important jewellery families in Denmark. After a short while the company received it''s first commission from the Royal Family. The company is now part of Georg Jensen.
 
This stylish brooch designed by Eigil Jensen measures 7cm x 3cm. Weight 20.2g. Excellent condition. Enamel perfect. Any variation in the colour blue, is light reflection from the camera.
