We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Norwegian enamel jewellery from this period is characterised by sterling silver or silver-gilt bases combined with translucent guilloche enamel, often featuring botanical or geometric motifs inspired by Nordic nature and modernist design.

These pieces typically utilise sterling silver, frequently gold-plated, paired with vitreous enamel applied over a machine-engraved or hand-turned guilloche pattern to create depth and shimmering colour.

Authentic items generally bear maker marks, silver purity stamps such as 830S or 925S, and national hallmarks indicating origin, alongside traditional craftsmanship like hand-applied enamel and secure pin mechanisms.

Vintage brooches can be pinned to lapels, worn as scarf closures, fastened to structured handbags, or grouped with contemporary accessories to add a touch of heritage colour and texture to an outfit.

Enamel should be protected from harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and direct impacts that could chip the glass surface. Clean gently with a soft microfibre cloth and store away from other hard metals to prevent scratching.
