Early Victorian Turquoise 9ct Rose Gold Ring

19th century
Description

Pretty Early Victorian Turquoise 9ct rose gold ring. A wonderful antique ring from the mid to early part of the 19th century. Two rows of Ten beautiful vari-coloured turquoise set in three bands of antique rose gold. The turquoise cabochons are approx 3 to 4mm. The claws seem quite secure. There is some wear and thinning to the gold band but still in good wearable condition. The total face of the ring is 16mm x 19mm. The turquoise has naturally faded with age and has turned a faded light bluey green colour, . The ring is not hallmarked at all but has been tested for 9ct gold and probably dates to the early Victorian era. Ring Size UK M U.S 6 the total weight is 2.9g.

Photographs are ZOOMED with x5 magnification. SO Please Check Sizes And Weights before purchasing as JEWELLERY IMAGES ARE ENLARGED!! Dark areas are reflections on the gold.

All items are checked by a professional Jeweller for authenticity; however no certificates are provided. If for any reason the item is found not to be genuine or as described a full refund will be given. So please buy with confidence.

Your jewellery will come in a modern gift box and not necessarily the one in the photograph.

Please also note that Antique and Vintage items will show some signs of wear commensurate with age.

Returns are accepted however buyer must pay return postage.

Finally - by purchasing a Used /Vintage/ Antique ring you are recycling a beautiful piece of jewellery and gemstone. In buying a ring which has been in circulation for this long is the most environmentally ethical way to purchase jewellery. Purchasing antique jewellery allows you to both support smaller local businesses and but encouraging the reuse of the vast amount of timeless jewels that are already in circulation and reduces the demand for further stripping of our planets resources.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
