Superb Edwardian 18ct Gold Diamond Five Stone Ring. This pretty ring has a row of sparkly bright old cut diamonds the largest of which measures 5mm x 5mm 0.50ct, two diamonds are 4.4mm x 4.4mm 0.30ct and two diamonds are 3.8mm x 3.8mm 0.40ct. Total diamond weight is 1.50ct and the ring is stamped inside for 150 (diamond weight) total face of the ring is 5mm x 20mm. The diamonds have excellent life and sparkle and are set into 18ct gold and platinum. There is an old stamp mark for 18ct and 150. This ring is in overall very good condition for its age, there is some wear to the band, but the claws seem good and strong and there are no chips to the diamonds. Stones are bright and lively with good clarity , with only a very few inclusions when seen under a loupe. The ring certainly dates to the early part of the 20th Century around the Edwardian era.
