Antique Silver Double Watch Chain / Necklace

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique silver double watch chain / necklace.

Each length of chain measures 28cm including the T-bar and the clasp so a good length to be worn as a necklace. The T-bar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904, one of the clasps for 1900 and the other is illegible.

Also included is a silver fob which is engraved to the reverse, ‘Waltz Competition, 1st March, 2nd prize won by Miss M Harrison, Mr F Slater, presented by Mr J Hartley’, hallmarked for Birmingham 1894. The front of the fob has the initials MH, so presented to Miss Harrison, together with the date 1895.

Total weight 56g

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
