During the early 20th century Harrods commissioned high-end silver plate from leading British manufacturers with this set most closely matching the production quality and marking style of Walker & Hall of Sheffield, one of Harrods’ principal suppliers. Their involvement ensures a high standard of craftsmanship and consistent plating—qualities that enhance both the decorative appeal and lasting value of the set.
