A Rare Chester Silver Edwardian Sprung Cheroot Cutter

A rare and collectable item of Edwardian personal silver, assayed at the sought after Chester Office. This interesting example is a hallmarked silver case cheroot cutter. The case can be pulled apart and inside there is a steel cutter, which has a sprung machanism. The case is beautifully engraved with foliage and has a large vacant carouche. To the top is an attaching ring for a fob chain or chatelaine. A good item, both decorative, collectable and practical. Dimensions below.
