Art Deco 18ct Gold Sapphire and Diamond Ring

Beautiful Art Deco 18ct Gold Sapphire and Diamond Ring. Small and perfectly formed daisy ring consisting of excellent coloured velvety blue old cut sapphire 4mm x 3mm. The sapphires are surrounded by a halo of eight beautiful sparkly old cut diamonds measuring approx 2.5mm x 2.5mm of 5 points each total 0.40ct set into a milligrain platinum daisy setting. The total face of the Ring measures 11mm x 11mm. The diamonds vary in quality, they are all bright and sparkly but two diamonds have some visible inclusions. The daisy face is not perfectly symmetrical but this in my opinion adds to its Antique charm. Would make a wonderful classic engagement ring. Ring is in overall very good condition, the stones have no chips or scratches and the shank is strong. Shank is hallmarked for 18ct gold and Platinum and most certainly dates to the early art deco era. This ring is size UK L and US 5 1/2 Weight 2.7g
