Clean gently with a specialist silver cloth to avoid removing historic patination, and store in a low-humidity environment away from direct sunlight.

They can be displayed mounted in a shadow box, resting on a drinks tray, or styled alongside vintage glassware on a bar cart to add historic detail.

Authentic pieces typically feature clear hallmarks including a makers mark, a lion passant indicating sterling standard, a date letter, and often a duty mark from the period.

These items were predominantly crafted from sterling silver using techniques such as die-stamping, piercing, engraving, and hand-soldering, suspended by fine link chains.

Georgian wine labels, also known as bottle tickets, emerged in the mid-18th century to identify different wines held in unmarked decanters, evolving into highly ornate pieces of miniature silverwork.
