A very good quality George III Sterling Silver Gilt ribbed design Snuff box, hallmarked for Birmingham 1810 by Matthew Linwood.
 
Gilded interior. The name ‘Henry Thrupp’ engraved to the cartouche.
 
It measures 6.5 cm x 4.5 cm x 1.5 cm and weighs 59.8 grams.
 
Condition is very good for its 200+ years, hallmarks are good, gilding bright, some surface scratches & general signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
 
A very tactile item.
