An early Sterling Silver Georgian Bright cut decorated Patch or Pill Box hallmarked for Birmingham 1795 by Joseph Taylor.

Measuring 2.5 cm in diameter x 0.8 cm high and weighing 3.9 grams.
In very good antique condition for its 230 years, hallmarks are rubbed but legible, makers mark is badly rubbed but you can just pick out the I & T using a loupe, , there is an old repair to the side of the lid (see photos), small dings and scratches & usual small signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
A very nice period piece.
