A good example of a solid sterling silver Cigarette Box with a wood lined interior. It is a good quality piece with star burst decoration and a cartouche engraved with initials C.G.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1928 although the maker''s mark is a little rubbed and hard to distinguish.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has picked up some small knocks and minor surface marks and there are a couple of small dinks but no major damages. The interior is clean and tidy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
