Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Very rare and unusual small pony fob which would look pretty set on a chain as a pendant or for a horse enthusiast. The gold is not hallmarked but has been tested for 9ct. The fob measures 2.2cm by 1.6cm including the bale and I have photographed with a one pound coin and on my hand to get an idea of the scale. The delightful Antique fob is in fantastic condition with only light wear in accordance with its age. Weighs 2.5g.
