Vintage 0.59 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1935

Description

A sleek Art Deco engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is white, bright and full of fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a four claw platinum collet, with an open 'V' gallery which allows maximum light to pass through the diamond. A pair of tapered baguettes are set either side of the centre stone, leading to a slender platinum shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre, with tapered baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour: H. The sides stones are G to H.

Clarity: SI2. The side stones are SI1 to SI2. All are clean to the naked eye.

Carat: The centre is 0.59 carat. The tapered baguettes are approximately 0.25 carat total.

Circa: 1935.

Size: N 1/2 (UK) or 6 3/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The centre diamond is approximately 5.25 x 5.28mm. Sits 5.4mm from the finger.

Weight: 3.25 grams.

Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
