A beautiful ornate late nineteenth century solid silver circular dressing table box with all over repousse decoration of classic scenes. The base bearing the graceful “H” hallmark for Herbert Hooijkaas, a Dutch silversmith who operated in Schoonhoven between 1890 and 1910. The piece also bears English import marks for London, 1896 by Louis Landsberg.

In superb condition throughout. A good large example.
