Antique French Porcelain and Gilt Bronze Lamp

Description

This is a delightful French porcelain and toleware table lamp with a really pretty design dating from around 1900. The lamp has central porcelain cherubs in an embrace set within a gilt bronze gate with entwined foliage and pretty floral porcelain blooms. The lamp has its original fabric covered shade with later tasselled decoration.

This takes a standard bayonet fitting bulb and is rewired ready for use in the home.

The lamp measures 36 cms high by 26 cms wide at the top. The base is 17 cms wide by 12 cms deep.
