A good example of a carved giltwood table lamp, dating from the early to mid 20th century. It is a good quality piece with a twisted column and hexagonal weighted base. The brass bulb holder sits atop of a faux candle.
The lamp is in good condition and it has developed a lovely aged patina. There are some minor signs of age and wear and some small chips and paint losses here and there but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy and displays well.
It has been PAT tested and rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb.
