Unusual Backbone Sterling Silver Toast Rack 1937 Antique 72g English Art Deco

Description

A superb English Art Deco solid sterling silver four slice toast rack. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1937 with the maker being that of Adie Brothers Ltd. It has been superbly designed, rather like a backbone, and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.6cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide by over 1.75 inches (4.6cm) tall. The division gaps measure over 0.25 inch (1.1cm) wide and weighs 72 grams. A very good quality piece.
