Sterling Silver Folding Glasses Magnifying C1870 Victorian Antiques Lorgnettes

Description

Superb English antique solid sterling silver folding spectacles / glasses. They are unmarked but test as sterling silver. They will date to the mid 19th century. They have been superbly designed being hinged so can fold and are in super condition being free from chips cracks splits holes and repairs, there are engraved with initials. I'm not sure if the side strip of silver on the final photo should have been a touch longer. They work well having a strong magnification. They measure approx. 3.25 inches (8cm) long closed 7 inches fully open and weigh 34 grams. Nice useable examples.
