Description

Antique English silver pocket watch, 1913.

The watch has a 16 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has an inscription, ‘ARR from RS, WS & DS, Aug 27th 1887-1912’.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1913, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition, just a light to the back and a hint of unevenness, nothing serious at all. The back of the watch has the initials ARR.

The glass lens has a few very small marks, nothing too noticeable at all.

The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
