WW2 Zenith pocket watch, 1939.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 19-34-3-T, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Zenith name and it has the serial number 3,246,805 which dates it back to 1939. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has the wording, ‘Grand Prix, Paris 1900’. Zenith won the prestigious Grand Prix for at this world exhibition for their exceptional precision, aesthetic beauty, and technical craftsmanship. The recognition firmly established the brand globally. This inner cover has a scratch across it.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is stamped as being white metal, probably nickel. It is in good condition and has the light remains of military markings to the back. The inside of the case back is signed with the Zenith logo.
The acrylic lens is in good condition, as is the signed dial which includes an outer minute track with red 24 hour numbers. Som

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
