The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Silver Coventry Astral Pocket Watch to the 1910s.
This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.
The watch has a nice quality 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both the back covers for London 1919 with a case maker's mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition, a hint of unevenness to the hinged back but not too serious at all.

The glass lens is in condition.
The dial is signed Coventry Astral, a brand name first registered by H Williamson in 1910. The dial has a faint hairline crack over number 1 but otherwise is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
