Antique Waltham pocket watch, 1915.
The watch has a seven jewel movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 20,222,519 which dates it back to 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some surface marking.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal and, as with many gun metal items, it does have surface marking although it has built up a nice patina over time.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial looks very good to the naked eye. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there is a short faint hairline between the centre and the sub seconds dial. Blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
