Description

A large Victorian mahogany breakfront bookcase. The centre has a pair of panelled cupboard doors that unlocks to reveal two fixed shelves inside. Each open side section has three adjustable shelves. The bookcase has a simple cornice top and stands on a plinth base. A practical and well-proportioned piece with good colour and grain.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches. The lock is in working order and comes with a key. There are marks and some staining to the shelves, splitting to the top, and some loss to the back edges—all consistent with age and use.
